With Quarterly Assessments around the corner, stress is high with students studying and preparing.

Quarterlies will be held Dec. 8, 9, and 10.

“The quarterlies are given to students so that we can monitor their understanding for the curriculum that we’ve provided so far,” Assistant Principal Marsha Fouts said.

Preparing for the tests is a very important part of the test.

“To prepare for the tests, do reviews, quarterly reviews and go to tutoring Tuesday and Thursday in the commons,” freshman principal Eliot Smith said.

After one has studied, staying calm and positive during the test are the final steps.

“Make sure you’re working everyday to better understand the curriculum and to majke sure you’re doing you homework to undertsnad and so just being confident in that and telling yourself you’ve done the most that you can do to prepare and just to have that positive self-talk,” assistant principal Marsha Fouts said.
