Bruins to take on Sandites Friday night

The Bartlesville Bruins travel to Sand Springs to look for another win against the 10-5 Sand Springs Sandites’ basketball team.
The Bruins have seven games left for the season and are hoping to win the rest of them for their best possible record. Over the past week, the boys have been preparing and memorizing their strategy for the game on Friday. Both Sand Springs and Bartlesville have similar records this season, so this is being seen as an important game.
Bartlesville basketball fans are looking forward to junior Barren Tanner driving the lane and fighting for the bucket. The crowd is also anticipating senior Tanner Thompson’s playing ability because he typically makes five or more three pointers per game making each game exciting.
Sophomore Jake Bilger is a lead on the team as he passes the ball around to the open man which leads to many good assists. The Bruins have a great strategy and hope to succeed this Friday.
The Sandites have a better record than the Bruins, but with the way that the Bruin team plays, they could come out with a win for the game. The Sandites are projected to win, but the Bruins hope to prove the projections wrong and shock everyone with a win.
