The Oklahoma election for U.S. Senate is going to be voted upon Nov 8. The election is for incumbent James Lankford’s position. Republican Lankford is attempting to defend his position. Democrat Mike Workman, Libertarian Robert Murphy, and Independents Sean Brady, and Mark Beard are running trying to take over his seat.
Lankford was previously a member of the House of Representatives. He is currently in his first term as a senator. He is a supporter of the second amendment, less agricultural regulations, removing fraudulent and wasteful spending, and smaller government among other things.
Mike Workman was a teacher for two years before forming Workman and Company, a company meant to help elect Democrats to office. His main focus is on equality, helping the economy, money to education, and finding alternative forms of useable energy.
Sean Braddy has worked for 17 years helping disadvantaged youth in many different settings. Braddy wants to raise the minimum wage, universal healthcare, supports unions, improving education and the environment, as well as criminal justice reform.
