Tonight at 7 in the Fine Arts Center, several students will perform for the annual fundraiser: Bruins on Broadway.  Tickets are $5 at the door, and donations are welcome.

This event was coordinated by four seniors, including Melody Brown Clark, Spencer Hayes, Katie McCollum and Olivia Orr.

“Bruins on Broadways is a performance hosted by the choir each year,” Brown Clark said.  “Most of the fine arts participate in various ways.”

Brown Clark and McCollum will be emceeing the event, introducing the each act and providing additional entertainment for the audience.

There are 15 acts this year, with over a hundred participants.  These acts are composed of group performances of choir and orchestra, as well as solos, duets, and trios.  There will be songs featured from Hairspray, Les Miserables, Matilda, Young Frankenstein, and various other songs.

Choir and orchestra have both been practicing diligently to prepare for their performance.  Everyone outside of these extracurricular activities has rehearsed on their own.

Proceeds from this event will go toward the budget for the spring musical, which will be announced after the final act.
