Paper Towel Drive to support SPCA

Darla Tresner, Adviser

To assist the Washington County SPCA, Student Council is collecting paper towels Oct. 19 – Oct. 29, according to Bridgette Smith, co-sponsor.

Student Council decided to help the SPCA because of a story on News 6 about SPCAs being crowded.

“They always need paper towels, spray bottles and other supplies,” Smith said. “We helped two years ago and it really helped. So we are doing it again.”

Paper towels should be given to fourth hour teachers, Smith said. The fourth hour class that collects the most will receive a “Fall” party Oct. 30 during fourth hour, Smith said.

“They use paper towels for sanitation,” she said. “They really need them.”
