The 2016 Bartlesville Sports Hall of Fame Gala is set to take place on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 6 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn.

The gala is a black tie event that honors Bartlesville athletes, coaches and teams. The hall of fame was created in order to honor athletes, coaches, teams and individuals who have made a lasting contribution to athletics and athletic endeavors in the Bartlesville area.

Two teams are being inducted: the 1989 Bruin basketball team who were the 5A state champions. The team had a record of 23-6. It was a team of 15, including 7 seniors, 5 juniors and 3 sophomores.
