Bartlesville Lady Bruins qualified for state after winning Saturday’s game at Shawnee. The girls will play in the state playoffs on Thursday in Edmond at 7:00pm after their 25-game winning streak in regionals. The varsity team has had an outstanding performance this past season, as they had been undefeated until their first qualifying game for state last Thursday night. The Lady Bruins have not taken on state for 26 years and now their work has finally paid off.

Students that would like to go to the game to help support our players can sign up with Mrs. Johnson or Mrs. Lashbrook located in the library with permission slips. There are only 100 spots for each day and students who wish to go must be eligible, no unserved detintions, or PASS assignment at time of event.

Seats on the bus cost $5 and tickets to enter the game cost $7. The bus will leave from the FAC at 5:30 pm Thursday evening. If the ladies win Thursday’s game then they’ll play on Friday at Oral Roberts University. Students who sign up to go on Friday will have an excused absence and leave from the FAC at 9:00 am Friday morning.
